Investment Strategies

Fronteira Global works with talented entrepreneurs in Iraq and other selected markets to find investors or financing for their projects. Although we are pleased to provide feedback on your project at any stage of its development, in order to work with Fronteira Global you must have in place for your project:

Proven managers ready to ensure your business is successful;
Minimum 10% of the capital or equity needed;
Necessary lands, titles (or leases), and all government approvals;
5-year revenue and expense projections;
A project of minimum size USD $3 million;
Comprehensive understanding of the competition and market dynamics in your sector.

We begin by discussing and analyzing your project in detail and will quickly provide our own professional determination regarding its funding potential. If your project is accepted by Fronteira Global, contracts stipulating all fees, expenses, services, and confidentiality will be negotiated and signed. Fronteira Global accepts most projects on a success fee basis.

Although Fronteira Global's core markets are Iraq, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, and Mozambique, we will occasionally consider projects from other frontier or emerging markets in the Middle East, Africa, or Latin America.

Fronteira Global would like to hear from private equity investors, venture capital firms, and private lenders whose funds or portfolios are open to considering high IRR projects in Iraq. Most opportunities are greenfields or startups, but several companies are also seeking expansion capital to capture near-term market share. All investments facilitated by Fronteira Global have been thoroughly vetted, boast proven, capable management with excellent track records of success in their respective fields, and extremely attractive IRRs. Most project IRRs for private equity projects exceed 100% on a 5-year valuation basis. Fronteira Global works with entrepreneurs in all sectors outside the upstream oil industry. Key sectors for investment include housing, hotels, shopping centers, oil services, power plants, refineries, construction materials, private medical centers, and food processing or agri-business.
